The Sentinel is out now and I truly appreciate all the reviews I've received. The main idea for the story is loosely based on a topic called the Fermi Paradox. If you can imagine a group of physicists and other scientists sitting around a lunch table pondering the vastness of the universe and the billions of planets and solar systems out there and then out of nowhere Enrico Fermi chimes in with the question “Well then, where is everybody?” Connecting a few dots, I am guessing that essentially was the starting point for this paradox. From that point forward, other scientists have weighed in on the topic and continue to do so.
As we grow, advance, and start to step out onto the stage of the greater universe, I believe there are lines of thinking around this paradox that we should consider.
Why haven't we encountered aliens? Maybe we haven't crossed the line.
I hope everyone enjoys the story.
